Dancing Baby

Thamizhini need not have any reason to Dance, if she hear any music or songs, she will start to dance. And these days she is much fascinated to "Daddy Mummy" song from Villu movie. She likes to hear that song over and over and over again and would love to dance.
Wanna Dance???
We capture her dance now and then and we will show it to her. She likes to see herself in mobile and I could see her eyes widen as she listens / sees it. And I'm sure it's a wonderful keepsake for her and no doubt I treasure them.

All her dancing (yeah, funny too) clippings are adorable and we would love to watch them always, No Doubt!!! Check out her Dance style, she would not move from one place but her body shakes for the music. :P

When it is bored inside the house, then next thing that we will do is taking her out. Nalin use to take her to the Car which is parked front side of our flat. She likes to sit inside the car and likes to explore Dashboard. Her Appa will play songs loudly and both Dad & Daughter enjoy music for sometime. Check out the below video how Thamizhini dance for the song just SITTING on the car seat.

As I said, she does not need any reason for dancing. Checkout the below video, she was roaming here and there in the house and once she heard the music from TV, her legs started dancing.

Cherishable Video

I'm sure it is one of the Cherishable videos that we captured Thamizhini ever. She was sleeping calmly and  we were just cleaning and arranging the bed room for us to go to bed. I heard a giggle sound from her and I looked at her, but no movements from her. She was sleeping so deeply. Then again after 2 to 3 minutes I heard it again. We were wondering and wanted to see what is happening. Me and Nalin sat over the bed near to her and were watching her. And to my surprise she giggled in sleep more than two to three times again and in no time she went back to sleep again!

Then we got an idea of capturing her, yeah! it does not mean that we forgot to capture, but we lost ourself by seeing her giggling in sleep. But for God sake, she gave an another chance to capture her giggle and we did it in wasting no time.Checkout the video for this lovely moment:

I always wondered by seeing her activities while sleeping. Sometimes she crawls to one or two steps in sleep or just get up and sit for a minute then  again goes back to sleep. Lovely Dolly.... Ummmaaaaa!!!

Comfortable outfit!

Any guess! Whats her comfortable outfit? Oh! No... No.... She likes to wear dress. It is very rare and only some times that she does not like it. But that is totally a different story.

Now what I'm talking about is the outfit that we dress her sometimes to look like a "Boy" :-P. Look at the below pictures clicked at home on different days!

Vandhena Nadakrathe Vere!!!
The one thing about these outfits are that she did not like to have more than few minutes. But these days she likes to have it and likes to roam in the house with this outfit.
Ah! Who is scolding me???
No TV today!
Sometimes she gets towel and ask us to tie for her. Or if its bored, she only gets towel and tries to tie for herself.
I don't eat!!!
Any Guess? Looks like whom? Check out my Orange color top!!! :P
And these days she does not leave the towel on bed or wherever it is. She needs it in hand and does something with it. My first job after bathing and wiping her is to hide the towel or put it somewhere where she cannot reach!!!

14th Month

Fourteen Months! My little one is growing older and older. My Goodness! Lots of developments and lots of activities!!! I have mentioned in last months "Monthly" that she has lot of activities and she is improving much in that. I have always wondered about her memory power and grasping power. We never taught her on how to sit on the swing, but she sits properly and holds the string in her hands nicely (check out the last months photo). Likewise lots of things, takes mob and mobbing the floor like how we do, like to eat in the plate, she just sees and does herself.
Her leg is paining it seems!!!
These days she knows how to complaint also and if we are not listening to her she will come close to us and ask for the things. And She likes to play always no matter where she is or what time is it. She will go to her toys boxes and search for what she needs then takes it. That is all!!!

Spikes again!!!

And the worst thing is that she does not like to bath, My God, that was my morning headache. She never enters to bathroom, I have to pull her to give bath and that time only she starts crying and that will not stop untill I finish bath to her. I hate this thing from Thamizhini.
Amma, I won't cry from now for taking bath... Ok???

She started saying some words too. Likes to call Kakka all the time, even though that is Pigeon. She and her Appuchi used to fight for saying it. He will teach her Puraa by showing Pigeon and she will say Kaakka. Even if you tell for 100times as Puraa she will tell 100 times Kaakka. She never accepts as Puraa. She likes to call Kaakka only. Also tells Thayuu for Thanni, baayu for Ball, Paiyu for Palli(lizard) and says Baiby for her baby doll. But never calls me as AMMA. Always chanting Appa only. Even if you teach to say Amma, she correctly says APPA. ;-(
Amma Bye bye... Going to Play in the Park
But what I love most of these days: She likes to see her books and want us to read / show for her. Yeah! True. Me too was thinking that what she will understand in this age. She really does not understand some times what we tell to her. But to my surprise, she likes to see her book (Thanks Kumutha Anni for those lovable books) and she asks ourselves to read book for her. There is no timing for it, whenever she wants we have to read / show for her.
Yeah! I'm identifying lots of animals and birds in the book.
And thinking what book was that? Her Kumutha Athai gave her 3 cute books namely "Brown bear Brown Bear what do you see?", Rhymes and Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, as of now we started only first two books. Also and we bought other Animals & Birds, Flowers, Fruits and some small story books. I have to write a separate post about this experience with Thamizhini.
I know! This is Ball....

But I'm not able to resist myself for not saying this. I'm little proud to say this too. She identifies (points the animal when we call it by a name) Dog (knows how it barks: says bow bow, bow bow), Cow(Says Mmaaaaaa by showing it), Elephant, Horse, Donkey, Tiger, Lion, Pigeon, Kaakka, Peacock, Parrot and somemore (I'm not getting the names :P). Whenever we ask to get a book from shelf by saying its name, she will go and get the books correctly. My sweet little one, I'm so proud of you da! And Kumutha Anni, Thank you very much for your books and that is were it all started! We never knew that our little one will like books this much.

Outing With Apuchi

Thamizhini's nap time is totally changed after she turns one and I'm sure that no one is sadder to see naps disappear than Mom. Before she used to take 2 naps that is morning around 11 and afternoon around 3 / 4pm. But these days its only one and we feel better if it is in the morning time or at least 11:30 to 2:00. Those two to three hours of sleep helps her to be active for the afternoon's "work" of being a toddler and also lets my mom to catch up on cooking, laundry or whatever other work.

I'm not Tired!
But actually getting her to sleep after 2:00pm can be a challenge for her nights sleep. So we don't do it even if it is required few times. For ex. if she get up late in the morning (sometimes around 10:30), we won't make her to sleep in the afternoon. After lunch around 4pm, in fact she feels sleepy! or at least she feels cranky to be inside at home and tries lot of ingenious ways to go out of the house. So we take her to the park to play for some time and of course her sleepy mood will go off.

Hmm... Light thookam varuthu,,,!!!
Actually it is Apuchi's duty to take her out when ever she wants. Even Apuchi is quite good in managing her out side. Not inside the house :P. So two times a day (morning and evening) is must and other unplanned outing also will be there sometimes like as I said. She likes to walk on the walking lane and likes to sit for sometime to explore the birds, mainly Pigeon. Check out the below video, we used to see this now and then, even Thamizhini likes to see it often.

This is the only place she always likes to sit and see kids playing. She knows Crows, Pigeons, Sparrows and Squirrel. Sometimes she runs behind sparrows and crows to catch. As she is seeing Pigeons from her birth, she knows it  and identifies it.

Apuchi, Kaakka!!!
I'm still remembering that she started saying Kakka in her 9th month and from that time her Apuchi taught her saying that was not kakka, but Pura. But she never accept as Pura, even though she knew that is Pigeon. Even if he says 100 times Pura, she will say 100 times as Kakka. Check out the video how they both fight for this.

The below one is her Apuchi's work. Do you think Thamizhini would have allowed to do this? She never allow to do anything on that. She likes to drop the bag upside down and likes to see the block pieces going around the house. That is it!!!

Howz it?
