2nd Mottai

Going to native is becoming tough and we just grab a reason to go and sometimes not to go. We had one of my close relatives marriage on this month end. We started from here on the Friday night and planned to return on Thursday morning. Marriage was planned on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Naanga koviliku vandhirkom.

As we were going to stay there for a week, I thought of doing 2nd mottai for Thamizhini on our temple. 

Appa, Enaku mottai- ah?

We did second mundan ceremony on 27th Sunday. The temple was nearby from our house, so we did not feel any trouble Thamizhini to get up and reach temple in time. Thamizhini did not know what was going there, but once I took off her cloth, she started crying. Her mama was ready, we placed her on his lap and started the process of shaving. But once shaving is done, her cry also came to an end. She took bath nicely and was enjoying the environment. She wore a beautiful dress after the mottai and enjoyed the Sweet Pongal given in temple.
